The short version. Agrondo is a notebook for your fields. The records are yours and they sit on your phone. Two fields and three plant identifications a month cost nothing. A subscription lifts those two limits and switches on PDF and CSV export. Apple takes the payment and handles renewals. What the app tells you about a plant, the weather or a rotation is information. It is not agronomic advice, and every decision on your land stays yours.

1. Who you are agreeing with

Agrondo is written and published by an independent developer. There is no company behind it and no office to visit. Everything goes through one email address: iosallapps@gmail.com. Where this page says "we", it means that one person.

Downloading the app or using it means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

2. What Agrondo does

Agrondo runs on iOS, in 16 languages. This is all of it:

Draw field and parcel boundaries on a satellite map and read the area back in hectares or acres.
Keep a farm journal: crops sown, treatments with the dose and the date, field operations, harvests and photos.
Record cost and revenue per parcel and per field, and see the profit per hectare.
Get a warning when the same crop comes back to a parcel in consecutive years.
See a weather forecast for the location you mapped.
Identify a plant from a photo, backed by PlantNet, and read a care library covering 61 species.
Set reminders that arrive as notifications.
Export reports as PDF and CSV.

Your records are kept on the device rather than on a server, which is why the app works in a field with no signal. If something is not in that list, the app does not do it, and nothing on this site or in the App Store listing should be read as a promise that it will. Section 4 sets out which parts of the list the free tier covers.

3. Your licence

You get a personal licence to install and use Agrondo on Apple devices you own or control, for as long as you keep to these terms. It is a licence to use the app, not a sale of it. The app, its name, its design, its icon, its text and its care library stay ours.

Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also covers your copy of the app. Read these terms alongside it. Where that agreement settles a question these terms leave open, it settles it.

4. Free use and subscriptions

Agrondo costs nothing to download. This is where the free tier stops:

Fields: 2
Plant identifications: 3 a month
PDF and CSV export: Subscription only

Everything else is free within those limits. Mapping, the journal, the figures and the reports on screen are all there without paying, for the two fields the free tier allows.

A subscription lifts the field and identification limits and switches export on. It is sold weekly or monthly. The price and the currency are shown to you in the App Store before you confirm anything, which is why no price is printed on this site.

Billing is Apple's, not ours. In practice that means:

A subscription renews on its own at the end of each period unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before that period ends.
Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
You manage, change and cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings on your device. We have no button for it on our side and cannot cancel one for you.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. Access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first, then delete.
Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy. We never see your card, and we cannot refund money we did not take.

5. Apple's part in this

Apple sells you the app and takes the payment. Beyond that, Apple is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app or for anything in it. Support comes from the email address in section 15, not from Apple. Apple may enforce these terms against you as a third party beneficiary. Your use of the App Store is also covered by Apple's own terms.

6. How you may use it

Use Agrondo to keep records for land you farm, whether it is yours or you work it for someone else. That is what it was built for. Do not:

copy, resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app,
decompile it, take it apart, or work around the limits on the free tier,
automate plant identification, or push volumes of requests through it that no person could photograph, because every request costs money to serve,
send photographs you have no right to send, or pictures of people who have not agreed to it,
use the app for anything unlawful where you are.

We may stop serving identification requests from an installation that is abusing the service.

7. Plant identification can be wrong

Photograph a plant and Agrondo offers a name. That answer comes from PlantNet, run by a French research consortium, and it is a best guess made from one image. A poor angle, flat light, a young plant or a leaf covered in dust are all enough to make it wrong.

The care library covering 61 species is general reading. It is written for the species, not for your soil, your season or your parcel.

Do not spray, pull, drill, plant or feed anything on the strength of an identification alone. Confirm it with an agronomist or your own eye first. Never use the app to decide whether a plant is safe to eat or safe to feed to animals. Agrondo gives you information. It does not give agronomic advice, and it is not a recommendation for any plant protection product.

8. The weather forecast

The forecast comes from Open-Meteo, a third party service, for the coordinates of the map you are looking at. A forecast is a probability. It can be wrong about rain, wind and frost, and it cannot tell you what is happening in one particular field at one particular hour.

Judge the spray window, the cut and the drilling date on the ground. Look at the sky, and check whatever the rules where you farm require you to check. If the service is down or the numbers are stale, that is the forecast provider, and we carry no liability for what the weather then did.

9. Your records are yours to keep

Your fields, journal entries, photos and figures stay on the phone. We hold no copy of them, so there is nothing we can restore for you. Four things follow from that, and they are your responsibility:

Back the phone up. The app does not sync to iCloud at present, so your records live on the one device that made them. Use your normal iPhone backup. A lost phone with no backup is lost records.
Check what you type. The app adds up the figures you give it. A dose or a price entered wrong comes out the far end as a wrong report.
Area comes from the boundary you trace. It is a measurement off a map, not a cadastral survey. It does not replace the land registry figure or a licensed surveyor, and it should not be used to settle a boundary with a neighbour.
Exports leave your hands. Once you send a PDF or a CSV to an accountant, an agronomist or a buyer, where it goes next is between you and them.

Two things do leave the phone, and only when you ask for them: the single photo you send for an identification, and the coordinates the forecast needs. The privacy policy covers both, line by line.

10. Rules where you farm

Spray records, dose limits, buffer zones, harvest intervals, subsidy paperwork, inspections: every country writes its own rules and rewrites them regularly. Agrondo is a notebook that adds up. It is not a compliance system, it is not certified to any scheme, and it makes no declaration to any authority on your behalf.

Before you rely on the app at an inspection or in a subsidy claim, check that what it stores and what it exports satisfies your own authority. Where the app and the law disagree, the law wins. Rotation warnings read your own history back to you. They are not a check against a greening rule or a scheme condition.

11. The app is supplied as it is

You get the app with the features listed in section 2 and no other promise. We do not warrant that it will be free of faults, that it will suit a particular farm, that it will run on every device or every version of iOS, or that the services behind identification and weather will be reachable when you want them.

Your statutory rights as a consumer stand whatever this page says. In many countries those rights cannot be signed away, and nothing here is an attempt to do it.

12. Limits on liability

So far as the law where you live allows:

We are not liable for a farming decision taken with the app open. Spray timing, drilling dates, crop choice, rotation, and what you did or did not do about a forecast are your calls.
We are not liable for lost crops, lost yield, lost income, lost profit or lost time.
We are not liable for records lost with a phone that was broken, stolen, wiped or never backed up.
We are not liable for a fine, a penalty or a failed inspection.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for Agrondo in the twelve months before the claim.

None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, in any place where the law does not allow that to be limited.

13. Changes, and ending it

The app will change. Features get added, and a feature can be withdrawn if the service behind it closes or becomes too expensive to run. Anything significant is described in the App Store release notes.

These terms can change too. When they do, the date at the top changes with them. Carrying on with the app after that is how you accept the new version.

You can end this at any time: cancel the subscription in App Store settings, then delete the app. Deleting the app removes the records held on that device, so export anything you want to keep before you do it. We may end the licence in section 3 if these terms are broken.

14. Governing law

Romanian law governs these terms.

If you are a consumer, that choice takes nothing away from you. The consumer law of the country you live in still applies wherever it protects you more, and you keep the right to bring a consumer claim in the courts there. For a dispute that is not a consumer dispute, the courts of Bucharest have jurisdiction.
